The President of the Steering Committee of the Chamber Chamber has the following attributions:

• represents the Chamber in relation to third parties;
• solves complaints of the parties against notaries on probation, taking the adequate measures;
• delegates, on request or by default, in extraordinary cases, for a limited period, a civil-law notary that shall ensure the operating of another office of a civil-law notary;
• hires specialty personnel or auxiliary personnel, in the number and structure determined by the Steering Committee of the Chamber;
• coordinates and leads the divisions set in the organizational structure of the Chamber;
• summons and leads the meetings of the Steering Committee of the Chamber and of the General Assembly of the Chamber;
• orders for payment the budgetary expenses of the Chamber;
• approves, at the request of the parties, the transfer of the successional file;
• fulfills any other attributions stipulated by Law, regulation, statute or other internal regulatory acts.
